Guess who’s back on the Fiji Airways National Mens 7s squad? That’s right, Rio Olympic gold medalist Vatemo Ravouvou is making a comeback for the HSBC Hong Kong 7s next week.
The Tavua Levu Fijian playmaker signed up with Utah warriors in the United States after the Olympics where he played as a full back.
But now the 33-year-old is back in the Fiji National Mens 7s squad and is looking forward to sharing his experience and provide motivation to the team.
The team also includes players like Joseva Talacolo, Josese Batirerega, Jeremaia Matana, Suliano Volivolituevei, Waisea Nacuqu, and more. They’ll be representing Fiji in Hong Kong next week.
Fiji’s first match is against Australia next Friday at 9.30pm, followed by Canada and France on Saturday. The Hong Kong 7s runs from Friday to Sunday. Get ready for some exciting rugby action!
