When being the oldest sibling you grow up faster than all your siblings, solely based on the fact that you’re acquired to do almost everything in the house.
You’re the designated washing machine, babysitter, dishwasher, and all-around warden for everyone who is younger than you in the house. Being the oldest isn’t that bad but it does come with a lot of challenges, especially being the one who has to grow up way faster than everybody else.
But having authority over every other younger version of your Mom and Dad does come in handy when you want to chill and delegate. Distributing the workload is something most older siblings do but take credit for, and it’s all for them to forget that they grew up being the Designated Person for Everything.
