Taveuni is not only home to the beautiful Tagimoucia flower but is also home to one of Fiji’s favourite Rugby players and that is Semi Radradra.

From humble beginnings, the Somosomo lad has defied all odds to be one of the world’s most renowned rugby players. At a very young age, he has always been known for being a kind-hearted and hard-working kid.

After gaining stardom from his time in the NRL with the Paramatta Eels, Semi Trailer as they like to call him headed for France where he dominated the France Top 14 Circuit with his powerful strides and bone-crunching tackles. He later signed with the Bristol Bears where he showcased his amazing gifts and is still doing so to date.

Even though he has made a name for himself, Semi has not forgotten about the Island he calls home and how much he wants to show youngsters on the Island how hard work pays off. Through hard work and determination, he has put together the Radradra 7s where Teams from all over Fiji can come and battle it out for the Title of Radradra 7s Champions and a share of $250,000.
