Not to sound mean, but, let’s be real, the cost of living is UP there right now, and for those of you who are going to have your wedding this year, we wouldn’t blame you if you would like a simple one. (You don’t always have to go all out)
Now, its a typical Fijian thing to attend a wedding, and return home with stacks of lunch boxes and containers, full of left over food from the function.
I mean, there’s nothing wrong with that, but there are always some who wants to come back for a refill of their plate but cannot get it, because the dish had somehow ran out due to constant refills, or there just wasn’t enough to cater for the amount of people that turned up.
This is USUALLY the case
So, for those of you who are planning to have your wedding soon, you might want to enforce a new rule :
MAXIMUM OF 2 SERVES PER PERSON.
You will notice, that it will save you a lot of money, and time, from running around looking for other dishes to keep on standby just because some ran out.
Like i said, the cost of living is pretty high nowadays, and we all want to have a good time, but also not have to worry about what tomorrow’s expenses will be like after hosting a big event like your WEDDING.
So just a suggestion that you might want to consider if you’re going to have you’re wedding soon, enforce that rule, and we guarantee it will save you a lot!
