Yesterday was a daring departure from my usual routine as I let Tyron and Esther dye my hair blue. I’ve always been particular about who touches my hair, trusting only my sister-in-law, but this time I made an exception. The decision wasn’t easy, and the process itself was more painful than I anticipated. However, it was a promise I made for the Queensland Maroons team and the other passionate fans.
As part of a bet, I agreed to sport the blue hue until Game 1 next year. It’s a bold commitment, but I’m determined to uphold my end of the bargain. Here’s to hoping that next year brings better luck for the Maroons – we’ll bounce back stronger!
As I look ahead to the upcoming months, I find myself mentally preparing for the challenge of maintaining this unconventional look until the next game. It’s more than just a dye job now; it’s a symbol of support and friendship with the other Maroons fans.
