I don’t think we need to go more into detail about this but we’re going to anyway because Fijian parents (or in this case, I think parents in general) have this superpower that can help them turn any type of conversation into a lecture.

You can be talking about the most random things in the world but your mum or dad will find a way to make sure you learn a lifelong lesson from it.

Nobody ever really knows how they learn this skill, but I think it just comes from the experience of going through it as a child and finally being able to repay it by doing it to your own children lol

I think it’s kind of the same thing about how people are always saying that sometimes it feels like people just have kids to have somebody pass them the remote.

All in all, we love our parents and we never want them to change.
