After their Boys Under 17 Grade were disqualified from the Vodafone Super Deans Trophy Competition, the Bucalevu Secondary U18 Girls Team has taken it upon them to keep their dreams alive.

From the Beautiful Island of Taveuni, this Team has put in the hours to make it into the Semis of the Weetbix Raluve U18 Competition. Led by Kuini Kamikamica the ladies have shown outstanding class when playing on the field, with a mixture of different villages from the Island of Taveuni and Vanua Levu the ladies have shown class on and off the field.

For many of these girls being part of a competition as big as this is a dream come true and for some of them it will be a doorway to dawning that white jersey to represent their country.

With the weight of the school’s expectations on the shoulders of these young ladies from The Garden Island, they have high hopes of coming out on top in the Semis. Not only have they made their Parents, Teachers and Friends Proud but also the entire Island of Taveuni.

They will be taking on ACS in the Semi-Finals.
