It’s that time of the year again where we make promises to ourselves that we don’t actually intend on keeping, although some of us actually do.

To be honest, making resolutions at the end of the year has become such a foreign concept because of this pandemic that the thought of it is almost cartoonish.

I never really saw the need in making promises to yourself that you probably wouldn’t follow through with throughout the whole year, but then I realized that at the end of the day, it’s the fact that you care enough about your well-being to try and learn or unlearn something so that you can become a better version of yourself.

I don’t think publicly declaring what your NY resolution also helps, so if you’re planning to be making one at the end of the year or on the 1st day of next year, then maybe try just keeping it to yourself and working on it silently.

Maybe that would help you actually keep your resolution for more than the average 3 months.

Whatever you’re planning for yourself in 2022, I wish you all the best.

Love,

Penny.
