The Fijian Drua has announced the release of *The Rise of the Drua – How A Rugby Dream Captivated A Nation*, a new book by renowned rugby commentator Greg Clark and veteran sports writer Norman Tasker. This independently written book traces the club’s inspiring 25-year journey, culminating in their entry into Super Rugby Pacific during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The book offers an inside look at how the team was formed, overcoming significant challenges such as frequent relocations and re-homing, before finally returning to Fiji. It chronicles the club’s highs and lows, providing fans with exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes stories, and never-before-seen photographs.
Celebrating the team’s unwavering Fijian spirit, *The Rise of the Drua* is a tribute to the players, coaches, staff, and devoted fans who helped the Drua quickly become one of the most beloved teams in the competition.
