We witnessed pure brilliance last year when Kalaveti Ravouvou burst into the Super Rugby scene. Now the 24-year-old Pheomenom has caught the eyes of the Powerhouse English rugby club.
Bristol Bears have signed Fijian blockbusting centre Kalaveti Ravouvou ahead of their 2023/24 season and will announce it shortly.
Bristol director of rugby Pat Lam has secured the signature of the tackle-breaking Ravouvou, as he looks to rebuild the focal points of his backline.
Super Rugby Pacific’s breakout star last season, Ravouvou, made his debut for the Fijian Drua and dramatically exploded onto the scene as they finished the competition sixth in the standings.
He played the majority of the 2022 Super Rugby season at the inside centre but also wore 13 on some occasions.
The signing of Ravouvou, which is due to be officially announced by the club shortly, comes following reports centre Sam Bedlow is wanted at Sale Sharks while Fijian star Semi Radradra is expected to leave the Bears for French Top 14 side Lyon next season.
Well, at least we have this season to see more of the hard-running centre.
