Fiji 7s keeps winning and this time we are really excited that not one or two but four nominations for the World 7s Player of the Year Award are from Fiji.

Two players each from the Fiji Men’s 7s and the Fijiana 7s teams have been selected to contest the World Rugby 7s Player of the Year Award.

Olympic gold medalist and former National 7s players Napolioni Bolaca and Jiuta Wainiqolo are two of the four players vying for the title. This power duo were the comedians off the field but absolute beasts on the rugby pitch. They will be up against New Zealand’s Scott Curry and Marcos Moneta of Argentina.

Fijiana 7s players Alowesi Nakoci and Reapi Uluinasau are two of the four women who will contest the World Rugby Women’s 7s Player of the Year award. They will be up against New Zealand Sarah Hirini and France Anne-Cecile Ciofani (Sio-fani). Fijian 7s were the most improved team and one of the two beauties need to win this award and only you can make it possible.
