The entire nation of Thailand was deeply impacted by the tragic death of a young singer, caused by complications from a neck-twisting massage that resulted in a herniated spinal disk in her neck.
In response to this incident, doctors across Thailand have begun cautioning the public against neck-twisting massages. The warnings follow the untimely death of Phing Chyada, a young woman from Udon Thani, who reportedly suffered fatal complications after undergoing such massages at a local studio in her hometown. According to her mother, Chyada had been experiencing shoulder pain for some time. Rather than seeking medical treatment at a hospital, she decided to visit the massage studio, believing it would help alleviate her discomfort.
Unfortunately, just two days after the session, Chyada began experiencing severe pain in her neck, and her condition rapidly deteriorated from there.
