Carmen Dell’Orefice had a disastrous first encounter with the fashion industry.

When Dell’Orefice was just 13 years old, she was contacted by photographer Herman Landschoff’s wife while taking the bus to dance class, and she quickly realized her test shots were not getting very far. But she was destined for success, and two years later, at the age of 15, she made her magazine debut on the cover of Vogue after becoming photographer Erwin Blumenfeld’s favorite model.

Carmen Dell’Orefice, who is 91 years old, went nude for a pornographic photo session in 2022. The previous year, she was featured on the covers of many fashion publications, such as Schön China, Vogue Czechoslovakia, and L’Officiel India. She goes on demonstrating that some individuals truly do age like wine and that age is only a number.

In 2019, we profiled Asia’s oldest fashion model, Alice Pang, who is 96 years old. However, since she began modeling at the age of 93, she was essentially a novice. Carmen, on the other hand, is deserving of the title of oldest active fashion model as she has decades of expertise.
