People have been left declaring that “true love does exist” after seeing beautiful footage of a married couple overcoming extraordinary odds.
In the video, a husband who was put into an induced coma after suffering a serious brain injury could be seen singing and dancing with his wife, showing that he still recognized her.
Motorcyclist Terry Williams, from Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, sustained a traumatic brain injury after a collision involving another vehicle in September 2021.
After being airlifted from Lethbridge to Calgary, Terry was placed in an induced coma. When he finally gained consciousness, his determined wife, Carly Williams, began playing music to aid his recovery.
Six months on, and it appears Carly’s efforts have paid off, with her husband responding to the music and even mouthing along to one of his favorite songs.
The clip has since clocked up more than 13,400 likes, with users left crying tears of joy at the emotional display of love, captured after the couple had been through so much.
