After the thrashing that Maroons got last night, it’s safe to say that the rivalry between the fans is way more intense than between the players.
It’s even worse when the fans are from Fiji.
I don’t know how it started, but I’ve never seen rugby fans rivalry the way State of Origin fans do it, and to be honest it is one of the most entertaining things about this series.
You can never really enjoy a match, whether your team wins or loses, unless you are watching with someone who is cheering for the opposing team.
Even if you’re a bandwagon fan, there are no gate-keepers when it comes to cheering for the best Australian state.
If you are one of the party poopers that like to bring up the fact that we shouldn’t be cheering for State of Origing because we don’t live in Australia, then please, keep quiet and let us enjoy things.
If you have no friends, just say that.
