First of all, honesty, trust and love is the foundation of building a steady relationship.

However, in today’s day and age, it feels like the wife calls the shots in the house, and the husband sits back and agrees.

From another perspective, its kind of unfair right? I mean, what’s the point of being in a relationship, if both voices aren’t heard?

Well, if you’re new to relationships, or if you’re going to be wedded very soon, you would want to build a relationship that’s steady and that lasts long. Of course, there will be arguments, and problems that arise later on in life, but that’s the beauty of being in a relationship, the way you and your partner come to a conclusion as to how that argument or problem should be solved.

So basically, what we are trying to say is that it’s something common to see nowadays, ladies are always right in all situations, and the guy would just agree with what she says. Maybe it’s true, maybe it’s not how most couples go about their everyday lives, but one thing we do suggest is for couples to

  • Listen to what your partner has to say
  • Respect their opinions, even if they sound far off or different than yours, or even if it’s off-topic.
  • When arguing, try not to dig into past issues just to make your other half feel smaller or embarrassed. Let it go and move forward.
  • Try to come to a conclusion with your partner, so that the problem doesn’t worsen from where it’s at.
  • Being consistent. After hearing what both sides have to say, make sure it gets back to the point.
