If you were to tell me that we’d have a road that could charge a car ( electric of course), I would have laughed in your face and spoiled you for a long time.
Well, this has fast become a reality. What started in 2018 in Sweden with a distance of only 2 km has stretched out to become a 21km electric road. It’s not like the electricity jumps out to cover the vehicles.
The road goes from between Hallsberg and Örebro.
This invention is the first of its kind and it is expected that the work on the charging road will be completed by 2025.
So bring out your electronics and take a ride because this road will leave you with a jolt of energy. It’s safe to say that Fiji is far from developing any roads like this cause we are still stuck on the Pothole stage of road works.
