Taylor Swift made history at the VMA 2023, after scooping 9 Moon Person awards, inclusive of Video, Song and Artist of the Year!
Swift’s appearance at the VMA’s comes weeks after she had referenced Kanye West’s Infamous Interruption of her acceptance speech for Best Female Video award for “You Belong With Me” back in 2009.
The singer took aim at the rapper during her Eras Tour in Mexico on Aug 27 saying
“Its the best way to be interrupted, by the way, just people chanting your name”
“Its really the only way to be interrupted,” she added. “And I would know”
The 33 year-old star, along with the three top awards; also earned Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects, Show of the Year and Album of the Year for “Midnights.”
Phew that is a lot of awards to take home in one night!
