It’s official. Selena Gomez and The Chainsmoker’s Drew Taggart are an item.
The 30-year-old singer-actress and 33-year-old EDM artist “are dating and things are still new,” a source tells ET. According to the insider, the two “met in a lovely, low-key setting through common friends, but they clicked right away and liked each other as people. Gomez and Taggart have been conversing and falling for one another since they first met, and they’re “having so much fun getting to know one another, “the source includes.
ET has contacted the representatives of Gomez and Taggert for comment.
Photos of the two obtained by Page Six show them bowling at The Gutter in New York City on Sunday, where they were recently sighted.
The outlet reported that a bystander saw the two “making out” at the bowling alley. Gomez also stopped to take pictures and sign autographs for some fans.
For their bowling session, the celebrities dressed casually and comfortably. Gomez wore a black hoodie and matching sweatpants, while Taggart wore a long-sleeved camouflage shirt and some dark brown slacks.
The two have not made any public comments about their romance.
The Only Murders in the Building star is “feeling positive and hopeful” about her love life in the upcoming months, a source told ET in December, and “She is open to dating.”
Gomez “is more open to love, but she is also very much focused on herself and her job right now,” another source told ET in July, shortly after she turned 30.
“She’s in pretty good health right now. She is in excellent mental, physical, and emotional health.”
