Netflix just dropped an incredible full trailer for the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series. If the 2010 movie let you down, fear not – Netflix is here to do it right this time.
The series is set in a war-torn, Asian and Arctic-inspired world where certain people can ‘bend’ the classical elements – water, earth, fire, or air. Aang, the ‘Avatar’ and the last living Airbender, is the key to maintaining balance in the world and stopping the militaristic Fire Nation from taking over.
The cast of the new series is set to include Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, known for his recurring role in The Mandalorian and Ahsoka.
Other cast members include Daniel Dae Kim of Lost, Tamlyn Tomita of Cobra Kai, Ken Leung, Elizabeth Yu, Ian Ousley, and Gordon Cormier.
Now, here’s the exciting part – the new series will be released on Netflix on February 22, 2024. So mark your calendars, and get ready for some epic bending action! 🌊🌍🔥💨
