Sevens rugby is one of the most watched sports in Fiji. We all have our favourite players but it’s difficult to like someone for just being themselves, titles like that are reserved for legends like Serevi and Jerry Tuwai. Safe to say that entering the legend conversation is a man who is knocking doors of half a century of appearances in the World Series tournaments.

Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team veteran Waisea Nacuqu who will be playing his 50th tournament this weekend at the Singapore 7s handed out the jerseys to the boys last night.

Nacuqu who has scored 15 tries in Singapore over the years is hoping to add a few more to his name this weekend.

Fiji will play Canada at 4.04 this afternoon in their first pool game, they will then play Samoa at 7.30 pm before taking on Spain at 11.33 pm in their last pool game.

The cup quarter-finals will begin at 4.18 pm tomorrow, the cup semi-finals will begin at 8.13 pm and the cup final will kick off at 11.28 pm.
