For as long as we’ve cheered on the Fijiana 7’s you will never miss Rusila Nagasau. She has been a regular on the circuit and even led our ladies to a couple of big upsets.

Former Fijiana 7s captain, Rusila Nagasau finally has the recognition she so rightly deserves. Her dedication and service to the women’s rugby game in Fiji are top tier with her great career achievements which include a bronze medal win in the Tokyo Olympics and a silver medal in the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

A star and a living legend of the women’s game in our country, she will be honoured in the upcoming Coral Coast Sevens tournament.

The organizers are thrilled to announce a new medal named FWCC Rusila Nagasau Medal that will be presented to the women’s player of the tournament in the Shangri-La Women’s Division.

New stars of the women’s game are expected to be unearthed in this tournament with the addition of this medal and the recipients of this medal will surely be thrilled to receive what is sure to be a coveted prize.

The Coral Coast Sevens tournament will be held from the 12th to the 14th of January, 2023.
