Callitxe Nzamwita is a 77-year-old man from Rwanda. He has been living alone for 55 years because he doesn’t want to be around women.
To stay away from women, he has put up a tall fence around his house. He depends on his neighbors to bring him food and things he needs. Whenever a woman comes near his home, he goes inside and locks the door.
Some people think that Callitxe has a condition called gynophobia. It’s when someone is really scared of women.
Even though he’s scared of women, the local women in his area are kind to him. They help him with the things he needs every day.
