A “serious” infection has caused Madonna to be admitted to the hospital.

The 64-year-old “Material Girl” singer was hospitalized owing to a health concern, and Guy Oseary, a talent manager and producer, revealed on Instagram on Wednesday that she is currently healing.

“Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection on Saturday, June 24, which resulted in a several-day stay in the ICU,” he wrote. Although her health is getting better, she is still receiving medical attention. A complete recovery is anticipated.

She is presently healing after leaving the ICU.

Madonna’s most recent medical issue occurred in late 2020, when she underwent hip replacement surgery. This was 11 months after she had to cancel several gigs on the North American leg of her Madame X tour due to an injury.

“So, how can I maintain my fitness? All of it is in your head. It is known as willpower, it is known as no one’s gonna stop me, and it is how I maintain my physical fitness. I don’t think there are any restrictions, so that’s how I remain in shape,” Madonna stated.
