Looks like all of our manifesting has worked, because during a brand-new chat with the New York Times about the 20th anniversary of Freaky Friday,

Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan said they are both interested in participating in the sequel, which is currently in development.

*Quick pause for screaming, calling your friends and family, etc.*

“As I went around the world with Halloween Ends, people wanted to know if there was going to be another Freaky Friday,” Jamie told the publication.

“Something really touched a chord. When I came back, I called my friends at Disney and said, ‘It feels like there’s a movie to be made.’”

Lindsay agreed, adding, “Jamie and I are both open to that, so we’re leaving it in the hands that be.

We would only make something that people would absolutely adore.”

Currently, the Freaky Friday sequel is in the works with the head honchos over at Disney,

and now that both actors are into reprising their roles as mother-daughter duo Anna and Tess Coleman, the world truly feels whole again.

“It’s going to happen,”

she said in an interview with Variety at the Producers Guild Awards back in February. “Without saying there’s anything officially happening, I’m looking at you in this moment and saying, ‘Of course, it’s going to happen.’ It’s going to happen.”

I for one am already excited about this!
