You’ll understand how priceless it is to have some time to yourself if you’re a new parent who is fortunate enough to be able to ask grandparents or aunts and uncles to watch your child for a few hours.

However, one mother found that after her mother-in-law and sister-in-most law’s recent visit, she no longer wanted her in-laws to watch her five-month-old daughter.

The mother-in-mother law’s and sister had come over to watch their infant while the couple went on a date, and although everything appeared to be going well at first, the mother was horrified when she got home and overheard her mother-in-law calling her daughter a “b***h.”

The mother posted on Reddit, saying: “I’m fairly recently married. We’ve been together for a year and a half, but last Friday was the day that my husband and I got married. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law looked after our five-month-old daughter this past Saturday so that we could go on a date.

“Here take your b***h of a daughter,” his mother said to my husband as he went to pick up our daughter when we returned a little over four hours later, after learning that she had been cranky because she was teething.

The woman is no longer willing to have her in-laws watch her daughter because she was offended by the remark and said her mother-in-law “crossed a significant boundary.”

Added her: “She and my sister-in-law may be unpleasant, but calling your five-month-old granddaughter a b***h crosses a significant boundary for me and makes me worry about her safety while she’s there. That stunned me, to be honest. She hasn’t returned. Am I being too dramatic?”
