From Navy Seal to Doctor to Astronaut, Is There Anything This Man Can’t Do?.

Imagine pursuing three different careers and excelling in all three.

At a very early age we are told in school that you can do anything if you put your mind to it or you can be whatever you want to be. For one man he took that quite literally, 40 year old Jonny Kim did just that when he pursued a career in not 1 but 3 different work fields.

Born in Los Angeles, Kim enlisted in the U.S Navy in the early 2000s before earning a Silver Star, Bronze Star with V device, and his commission. While a U.S. sailor, Kim also received his Bachelor of Arts in mathematics with distinction, his Doctor of Medicine, and an acceptance to NASA Astronaut Group 22 in 2017. He completed his astronaut training in 2020 and is scheduled serve on Expedition 72/73 to the International Space Station in March 2025.

Jonny Kim is the true definition of you can do anything if you put your mind to it or you can be whatever you want to be because the sky is the limit.
