The people of Davuilevu Housing have expressed their dismay and hope the council will rid their neighbourhood of the continuously growing rubbish pile of white and green waste

The Chief Executive Officer of the Nausori and Nasinu Town Councils Anurashika Bari says green and white waste left on the side of the road will be collected by their team and she is pleading with residents to have patience.

Residents of Davuilevu Housing are concerned that the green and white waste that was supposed to be picked up between the 19th and 22nd of last month has not been picked up until today.

They say they will have to celebrate Diwali this year with giant piles of rubbish in front of their houses and streets.

Bari says they understand they are a bit behind in their collection schedules but it will be collected.
