Intermittent Fasting is any of various meal timing schedules that cycle between voluntary fasting and non-fasting over a certain period. For instance, you have your last meal at 6pm and fast for 18hours. After that period, you can eat at 12pm. However, you’re only given 6 hours to eat (because you start fasting again at 6pm).
This has been proven to make drastic changes in just A MONTH! Also, an important note is that you’re hydrating well while fasting.
When you’re fasting and only eating at and between a certain time, you’re psychologically tricking your body and mind. During that fasting period, your body NATURALLY BURNS the food that you’ve eaten, hence burning up calories and fat.
It has also been proven to protect organs against chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, age-related neurodegenerative disorders, even inflammatory bowel disease and many cancers.
Also, did I mention that you can eat ANYTHING you want when doing this? YUUUP! you sure can! But remember! you’ve got to stick to your 18hr fasting (or any amount of time depending on your preference).
