An upcoming four-part documentary series starring Lionel Messi has been revealed by Apple TV+.
The series, which doesn’t yet have a name or a premiere date, will follow the Argentine superstar as he prepares to win the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and will give viewers exclusive access to his behind-the-scenes activities.
Throughout the 2022 World Cup, the series followed Messi, from public appearances like press conferences to quiet, reflective times spent by himself in his hotel room.
The show, which was filmed in Paris, Qatar, and Argentina, will also feature footage of Messi’s time with the Argentina national team, including his international debut red card, early retirement in 2016, quick comeback, and ultimately career-defining victory in Qatar.
