It’s not an uncommon thing for you to be snuck into someone’s house or for your to sneak someone else into your house. Whether it’s a romantic friend or just a friend that you weren’t allowed to see anymore, we’ve all done this as kids at least once.
The real killer is how you have to pretend that you’ve never been to a house that you’ve obviously already been to, except the owners of the house don’t know this – just you and the person that snuck you in there.
It’s the fact that you have to pretend that you don’t know where anything is for me!
This one time, I had to pretend that I didn’t know where the restroom was at a house that I used to be snuck into almost every weekend, but I almost gave myself away at first.
When I was excusing myself to go to the restroom, one of the residents of the house (who had no idea I had already been in that house many times before) offered to show me where it was. I almost replied with “Oh I know where it is don’t worry,” before I stopped myself and let them show me the way to a place I already knew.
If you’ve been through this, then let’s just all hold hands and cry together because that is a skill that I’m not proud of, but it was definitely necessary for our survival hahahahaha
