The Suva Women’s Football FC has secured a place in the 2025 Women’s Super Premier Football League after an impressive playoff performance. Under the guidance of their new coach, Savaira, Suva dominated their opponents, showcasing both skill and teamwork. On Sunday morning at 11 AM, they overwhelmed Nadroga Women’s Football Team with a crushing 9-0 victory, with Fiji Junior Kulas striker Leba Nasogiri scoring the first goal just 30 seconds into the match. Later today at 4 PM, Suva continued their winning momentum by defeating Tailevu Naitasiri 4-1, proving they are ready for top-tier competition.

Despite their success, one of the key weaknesses identified in the team is fitness levels, as many players juggle football with work or school commitments. The coaching staff acknowledges this challenge and is committed to improving player conditioning to ensure they can compete at the highest level. With a mix of experienced and new players from different districts, Suva Women’s FC is determined to grow stronger. Their ultimate goal is not only to climb the league rankings but also to one day represent Fiji at the OFC Women’s Football League. With dedicated training and strategic planning, Suva is set to make a lasting impact in women’s football.
