Sean “Diddy” Combs will stand trial on May 5, 2025, for charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution. This date was set by Judge Arun Subramanian in Manhattan federal court, replacing Judge Andrew L. Carter Jr., who recused himself due to prior connections with the legal teams involved.

Combs, currently held at the Metropolitan Detention Center, has been denied bail multiple times. Recently, his legal team accused the federal government of leaking a video involving singer Cassie from a hotel incident, which surfaced in May. They claim the video was intentionally leaked to the media to further harm Combs’ reputation.

In addition to the criminal charges, over 120 new allegations of sexual abuse have been levied against Combs, many involving minors. Attorney Tony Buzbee, representing more than 50 accusers, described the incidents as acts of “debauchery and depravity” that occurred in hotels, private homes, and at Combs’ infamous “Freak Off” parties.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges and strongly denies the allegations. His attorney, Erica Wolff, called the accusations a “reckless media circus” and reiterated that Combs is eager to prove his innocence in court, where the facts will be determined by evidence, not speculation.
