Today we see students from schools in and around the Tailevu region compete for the number one spots in the boys’ and girls’ division at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
This is a day most student-athletes anticipate as it is one of the most important prestigious athletic competitions to attend before qualifying for the renowned Coca-Cola Games which will take place from the 2nd to 4th of May.
Ratu Kadavulevu School came our victorious in the boys division last year whereas Tailevu North topped the board for the girls side.
Can they retain their titles or will the competing schools give them a run for their money? Literally.
The games have only just begun and it is still a levelled playing field at the moment.
