Mr. Beast is receiving criticism for his role in the construction of 100 wells in Africa.

The well-known YouTuber teased the project on Twitter on Friday. “Tomorrow’s video is the best thing I’ve ever done—we’ve been working on it for over eight months,” he wrote.

The film, which MrBeast released on Saturday, shows his group traversing Africa in an attempt to supply fresh water to people without access. The YouTuber is shown in the video delivering water to various locations in Uganda, Somalia, and Cameroon, as well as a hospital in Zimbabwe and a school in Kenya.

MrBeast’s most recent project quickly became a source of controversy as trolls on social media attacked the YouTuber for being deceitful.

In response to the criticism, Mr. Beast tweeted that he believes he will “get cancelled” because of the video.

“I already know I’m gonna get cancelled because I uploaded a video helping people, and to be 100% clear, I don’t care,” he stated in his post. “I’m always going to use my channel to help people and try to inspire my audience to do the same.”
