A young girl received a remarkable birthday surprise when she uncovered a 2.95-carat golden brown diamond in Arkansas. The girl was celebrating her birthday at the park with her family when she made the stunning discovery while resting with her father and grandmother.

“She got hot and wanted to sit down for a minute, so she walked over to some big rocks by the fence line,” Aspen’s father Luther Brown told the outlet.

“Next thing I know, she was running to me, saying ‘Dad! Dad! I found one,’ ” he added.

The budding gem enthusiast made this extraordinary discovery while celebrating her seventh birthday at the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro, Arkansas, as reported in a park news release.

This precious find by Aspen Brown on September 1 is a noteworthy addition to the park’s collection, ranking as the second-largest diamond registered by a park guest this year. The only diamond to surpass it in size was a 3.29-carat brown diamond unearthed in March, as mentioned in the park’s release.

Just imagine your life peeking at 7 years from finding such a gem!
