Being a mum in general is hard enough as it is, but this mum is making headlines for having one of the biggest families in the UK and she seems to be doing a great job at it.
Alexis Brett once revealed in an interview how much it costs to raise a family with 13 children and it goes without saying that it’s not cheap.
Mrs Brett said that she and her husband have always wanted a big family so this doesn’t come as an inconvenience for them as this is what they’ve always wanted.
She also mentions that being a mum of 13 is a full-time job revealing that every day, she has to vacuum their 5-bedroom house for 4 hours, does 3 loads of washing, and spends a fortune on food – including £15 ($40FJD) on packets of potato chips alone!
Alexis starts her day at 5:30 am every day and doesn’t stop until she goes to bed at 11:30 pm, which doesn’t exactly leave room for anything else outside of her home life, but she says that it’s something that she finds fulfilling even though it really tires her out most times.
