It’s party season, baby! That means there are gonna be days away from home where you’re just casually carousing with your friends.
That also means that are going to be a lot of ignored calls from home. That’s right. We’re talking about you! Don’t look behind you. You, booboo! This one is for you!
A lot of us tend to think that our family will kill us for partying in the festive season. Yes, they might be upset that you’re out so late doing God knows what with God knows who, but it’s very important to make sure that they know where you are and who you’re with.
This is because if something ever happens to you, your loved ones will be the ones that will be first contacted and if they knew your whereabouts and who y0u were with, it will be so much easier to find out what happened to you.
Calls from your family while you’re still partying can sometimes be a buzzkill, but I promise you this, most of the time they just want to know that you’re safe, where you are, and who you’re with.
And please, also make sure your devices are always charged if you’re going to be house partying.
This doesn’t apply for husbands, wives, fathers, and mothers, by the way.
If you’re going to be out and about, make sure that your spouse already knows where you’re going before you go there.
When children are involved, it’s best to just leave your wild partying days in the past, unless you know the kids are sorted and will be ok.
All in all, make sure that your loved ones know where you are and who you’re going to be with.
