What Are Some Green Flags Guys Look For in a Potential Wife

In this day and age, casual hook ups, short term relationships, and sneaky links are the norm.

It’s a huge contrast from when people would date for marriage and would never leave whoever they’re with until they walk down the aisle.

Personally, I feel like that people’s personal preferences are just a bit more evident now. There are those who don’t want to get married and that’s ok, but there are also the ones who take time finding the one that they will marry because of how prevalent red flags are in our society.

We went around and asked some guys what signs they look for when looking for a future wife and here are some of the answers.

GETS ALONG WITH MUM AND SISTERS

Before you enter into a man’s life, the first prominent female figure in their life would most likely be their mum and sisters, if they have any. Their mums’ and sisters’ opinions are very important to them so they can find someone that gets along with them, that’s one of the biggest green flags that they can find.

DON’T HAVE TO PRETEND TO BE SOMEONE ELSE AROUND THEM

Apparently, when guys say feel comfortable enough to be themselves around girls, it makes them more likely to hang out with that girl more often and eventually make them a permanent person in their life.

ALWAYS ENCOURAGING. DOESN’T BELITTLE.

Most guys enjoy a little banter every now and then, but when it’s coming from the opposite sex, there’s a fine line between banter and just straight up belittling somebody. Most of the time, guys can take a little spoiling, but when it goes a bit too far, it can be very off putting.

MAKES THEM LAUGH

This was a pretty common answer, actually. Guys love to laugh. Everybody loves to laugh. The guys that gave this answer said that when they find someone that’s always making them burst into a good old hearty laugh, they want to be around that person all the time.

MAKES RESPONSIBLE DECISIONS

This one is a common answer for both guys and girls.

I mean, you do attract what you put out so if you’re constantly making irresponsible decisions, you’ll attract irresponsible people, so when guys see girls making good decisions for their well being and the well being of others, it makes them feel like they too want to be responsible.

Of course, this list goes for both guys and girls, so ladies, if you’re reading this and you’re trying to see where you are one the list, make sure that the guy that you have your eyes on have traits that are on this list too, because relationships are not a one-way street.
