The next Toy Story 5 film from Pixar will see the return of Tim Allen’s Buzz Lightyear and Tom Hanks’ Woody.
Woody and Buzz are now apart after Toy Story 4 left the toys dispersed and trying to find their place in the universe. Buzz stays behind with the rest of the toy crew as Woody goes about his life without a child of his own.
Allen was the first to confirm his role in Toy Story 5 and Woody’s apparent comeback, while Hanks has yet to make a statement on the subject.
Pete Docter, the chief creative officer at Pixar, explained that Woody and Buzz will appear in Toy Story 5. He leaves out the specifics of how, though which keeps the rest of us on the edge of our seats.
Nevertheless, there is definitely an atmosphere of excitement surrounding this release.
