It’s what we’ve all been waiting for… the chickens are back with Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget – a sequel to the 2000 classic.
The highly-anticipated sequel has been talked about for a long time now, and we finally have a release date to mark on our calendars.
Speaking of Netflix’s upcoming release, director Sam Fell said:
They say a movie is only as good as its villain and Ginger’s nemesis, Mrs Tweedy is one of the all-time greats. Now she’s out to take industrial-scale revenge on all chicken-kind with the Dawn of the Nugget.
Believe it or not, the original Chicken Run was released some 23 years ago now, with some fans wondering whether they would have to wait 25 years for the sequel.
But thankfully, Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget will hit Netflix on 15 December this year.
That’s right! Just a few months away.
