If you’re a smoker, you’d know how hard it is to quit the nasty habit.

This doesn’t mean that it’s impossible, but it’s very doable.

There have been many smokers that have been able to kick the habit, whether it was cold turkey or training themselves out of it, but I don’t think that I’ve ever heard of someone going this far.

A man from Turkey decided to quit smoking after his father died of lung cancer. He was afraid that he would suffer the same fate so he, with the help of his family, made himself a helmet-like cage to keep him from smoking … or doing anything that requires his mouth for a few hours.

The key to his strange head cage is given to his family everyday which makes it very inconvenient for him to unlock it himself.

He wears it when he goes to work and when he heads out of the house, but he needs it unlocked when he’s having dinner and then he will ask his family to lock it up again after his dinner is finished.

Nobody really knows if he has quit smoking for good, but this is definitely a very effective way to quit smoking.
