There’s always that one person who is willing to try out new things even if it could kill them. These daredevils tend to be the most adventurous people in the friend group, which is all well and good, but sometimes you really need to suss out the situation before trying to put your body through that much stress.
This Swiss man is no exception as he decided to take on the World’s Strongest Fountain, the Jet D’Eau on Lake Geneva.
For context, this fountain pumps out 500 litres of water per second, at a speed of 200 kilometres per hour, to a height of 140 meters (460 feet) into the air, so the fact that he thought he would be able to still go through with it is baffling me to this day.
Let’s talk about how he was able to complete his task.
First, he breached the security restrictions, then he ran up to the nozzle of what is basically a water cannon, and he put his head in it as soon as it was time for the fountain to come on.
This basically catapulted him backwards and we haven’t seen her since then.
You know what the best part is? That wasn’t his first attempt.
There was also a time when he had wanted to give the fountain a hug. The results were the same, but this time he landed on the cement.
He was able to get back up but then he fell back into the lake and nearby onlookers promptly alerted the police before he was taken to the hospital.
I guess it’s safe to say that not everything is here for your physical enjoyment. Just look at it and be amazed!
