We now have our first look at John Cena in character, and you’ll need to brace yourselves after the stunning revelation that he was included among the cast of the Barbie movie back when the teaser aired in April.
The legendary doll, played by Margot Robbie, and her boyfriend/accessory Ken, played by Ryan Gosling, who struggles with his position as number two, are the stars of Barbie. The professional wrestler turned Hollywood star is one of an exceptionally packed cast.
Both the movie’s theme song, Dance The Night, and the majestically blue-haired Mermaid Barbie are performed by singer Dua Lipa.
In the future, it seems like Cena will portray her male merman counterpart and possibly even her love interest.
