Rice
Use rice grains to clean irregularly-shaped bottles or vases in home that are difficult to clean.
Pour the raw rice into the bottle and a little soapy water. Rotate and shake the bowl to get the grains into every nook and cranny.
**By the way… Drix hasn’t tasted rice in 4 months now due to him using it all on washing**
Lemon
Everyone knows how handy lemons are when it comes to uses around the home.
Lemons can also be used to clean the microwave. Cut the lemon into wedges, then put them into a bowl of water. Put the bowl in the microwave and heat it for 2-3 minutes.
Leave the microwave door closed for a few minutes after it’s done so the steam does not escape the microwave.
After a few minutes, wipe the inside of the microwave with a cotton cloth.
You could clean your oven the same way, by turning the oven on to 200C for 20 minutes. But make sure, the dish you’re using to keep the lemons and the water is an oven-proof dish.
In order to disinfect wooden chopping boards, rub a sliced lemon on a chopping board to remove stains and bacteria from it.

Ground coffee
Fresh ground coffee can absorb unpleasant odours whilst smelling great.
Fill a bowl with ground coffee and put it in the location where there’s a bad odour (your fridge or cupboard).
It can stay in there for more than a week but if it’s being used to remove a particular smell, then the ground coffee should be changed regularly.
Repeat until the smell is gone.
Banana peel
Banana peel? Yes!
Turns out it can help clean leather shoes!
Simply wipe the shoe with the inner side of the banana peel and then with a cotton cloth.
Using it regularly will also protect your leather shoes from cracking!
