Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lawyer has downplayed the discovery of 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant at the rapper’s homes during a federal raid, saying that the stockpile was just bulk-buying habits common among Americans. Marc Agnifilo, Combs’ attorney, dismissed the claim made by federal agents, saying that while there was a large amount, the number was exaggerated.
“I don’t think it was 1,000. I think it was a lot. I mean, there’s a Costco right down the street,”
Agnifilo told The New York Post, saying that buying in bulk isn’t unusual.
The discovery was part of an investigation into Combs’ alleged involvement in a sex trafficking ring. According to the indictment, the music mogul is accused of orchestrating “Freak Offs,” described as elaborate sexual performances involving drugs, some lasting for days. Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges, which include sex trafficking and racketeering.
If convicted, Combs could face up to 15 years or more in prison, but his legal team remains confident, with Agnifilo stating that Combs is focused and optimistic about his defence.
If buying baby oil was illegal Diddy would be down for LIFE.
