Stars are unhappy with food choices, including fake meat meals and dairy-free products

Being a part of the Olympics Squad would be a dream come true for any athlete around the world, even for me. 🥹🤭 However, reading about what athletes have to go through each day makes me dream otherwise. 😭🤣🤣 The Olympic Village in Paris is bustling with activity as it prepares to serve approximately 13 million meals to athletes during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Well not all are sunshine and rainbows at the Olympics as several athletes have taken to social media to voice their opinions with the food quality, sharing their disappointing experiences with the meals provided.

Quah Jing Wen, a swimmer from Singapore, shared her mixed thoughts about a meal of French salmon Wellington she sampled, saying the flavor “caught her off guard” at first but soon won her over. She did, however, draw attention to a problem that the athletes all had: most of the meals aren’t salted enough.

Track and field athlete Raven Saunders, expressed her disappointment on TikTok. She expressed her displeasure with the offers by showing a bit of food from the dining hall in her video along with the audio clip, “You disappointed me.”

The chocolate muffins are one dish that has stood out and received a lot of attention, despite the fact that opinions about the cuisine have generally been negative.

As the Games go on, athletes’ complaints about the quality of the food can lead the organizers to make changes to better suit their dietary requirements and preferences. For the time being, the Paris Olympic Village’s chocolate muffins continue to be a minor but noteworthy highlight of the dining experience.
