The Today survey found that 46% of mothers felt their husbands caused them more stress than their children.

Many said that there was an unequal division of household and parenting responsibilities, and they felt like they had to manage everything while their partners contributed less.

Some of them even described their husbands as “big kids” who added to their workload rather than decreasing it.

The stress was often connected to differing parenting styles, lack of support, and feeling unappreciated.

The survey also highlighted that many mothers struggled to find time for themselves, leading to exhaustion and frustration, worsening the imbalance in their daily lives.
