Imagine going to Jail for a crime that you didn’t commit but your Dog did.
That was the case for Markus Meechan when he was arrested he posted up a video of himself teaching his dog to do the Nazi salute while reacting to the phrase, “Gas the Jews”. Some dog pet owners teach their dogs to fetch or rollover but Markus taught his dog to do one of the most controversial things to do.
Markus Meechan who was 28 at the time was detained on suspicion of committing a hate crime and spent a night in jail, the Daily Mail said Monday. The arrest came after he posted a video online under the title “M8 Yur Dugs A Nazi” (Mate, your dog’s a Nazi).
