Imagine getting a call from God and he’s telling you to invest a certain amount of money into the “Bank of Heaven” in order to secure your place behind the pearly gates.
Well, that’s what happened with an overly religious woman who got scammed by a man who claimed to be God.
In the span of 6 years, she sent around 300,000 euros to what she believed was God’s bank account.
I mean, if you’re an overly religious person who has little to no experience whatsoever with technology and social media, this would be a situation you found yourself in too.
What I’m more upset about is the fact that she probably has grandchildren who are well-versed with technology and they didn’t even bother to warn her about these scams!
